Commenced 2000

The Bendigo branch was opened in 2000 with the prospect of opening up a small village of Independent Living Units for the aged. The initial possibilities were not realised but in 2013 a former RSL village was purchased and the branch became more active. Up until this time they had concentrated on supporting welfare cases. Lionel Douglas took charge of the units on handover until his untimely death in 2015. Tony McMahon is now the leader and the branch is active in maintaining the village at 44 High Street Kangaroo Flat as well as continuing with the support of welfare cases.
